Why Lilies and Jets?
Lily is our daughter’s name, and Jet is my husband, and our design styles always flow between feminine and modern, so we thought it was the right mix for the title.
We are both passionate about design and find the world around us as our inspiration. For years, we have been the couple that traveled and searched through antique fairs, modern art galleries, home shows, salvage yards, and more as our favorite pastime. He loves modern, clean design, and well, I fall for beautiful styles of all kinds. We figured out a way to balance our diverse tastes into an eclectic blend in our home.
When people see our work, they ask:
Where did you get that idea?
How do you do it?
We find that doing DIY projects together gives us a shared creative outlet that brings us closer together as a couple. We founded Lilies and Jets to share our adventures, inspiration, design concepts, and our passion for DIY with you. We hope to inspire you to take on a project that might be a little too big or too complex because there is a world of help out there waiting to assist. We have done solo projects, projects with master artisans, and borrowed expertise from friends and family.
Design that functions and shows off your personality and story. Incorporating classics and styles that create a truly personal style.
Cookie-cutter trends you see everywhere.
